Over the last two weeks, our incredible volunteers put in over 50 hours of time to make 2,300 calls to educate voters on why we support Marilyn Moore and Terry Gerratana for state Senate. Because of the dedication, energy and commitment from our fabulous volunteers, we were able to talk to voters about these candidates and celebrate in victory Tuesday night as both won their primary elections!
This is a big victory for reproductive health and rights for Connecticut families. As Senators, both Marilyn and Terry have fought to improve access to health care and advocate for paid family leave. They are, without a doubt, committed to improving the health and wellbeing of all families in Connecticut, and we trust them in continuing their work as vocal advocates for reproductive and sexual health care and access.
We need more champions like Senator Moore and Senator Gerratana in our General Assembly, and that’s why from now until Election Day, Planned Parenthood Votes! Connecticut is going all out to put allies in our state Capitol so we can win big for reproductive health, rights and access right here in our state.
It is because of amazing volunteers that Planned Parenthood Votes! Connecticut continues to build power and make impact in elections. We hope you’ll join us in the upcoming months because we can’t do it without you! If you’re with us, then join our election volunteer crew to make sure we elect leaders to state office that will continue to protect reproductive health and rights and ensure reproductive freedom for all people in our state. Join the fight to #PinkOuttheVote on November 8!
